About the role
Lead surgical site preparation by orchestrating the setup of instruments and resources tailored to surgeon preferences, ensuring the team is equipped for success before the first incision.
Optimize the operative field through expert tissue manipulation and visualization techniques, providing surgeons with the clarity needed to perform at their best.
Execute advanced clinical maneuvers including the achievement of hemostasis and precise body plane closure to promote superior healing and patient recovery.
Champion patient safety and comfort by managing specialized positioning and stabilizing equipment, protecting the patient throughout the entire perioperative journey.
Ensure continuity of care by expertly applying dressings and securing drainage systems, maintaining a sterile and organized environment from start to finish.
Minimum Requirements
- Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
- Certified First Surgical Assistant required.
- Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
