Express Employment Professionals is recruiting on behalf of a respected local client seeking a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) to join their growing team.

About the role

The Certified Financial Planner will serve as a trusted advisor, providing comprehensive financial planning services and personalized strategies to clients. The successful candidate will have expertise in investment management, retirement planning, tax strategies, insurance planning, and estate planning, while building lasting client relationships through exceptional service and guidance.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive financial assessments to evaluate client goals, financial circumstances, and risk tolerance
  • Develop customized financial plans that address retirement, investment, tax, insurance, and estate planning needs
  • Present financial recommendations clearly and effectively to clients
  • Monitor client accounts and financial situations, making ongoing recommendations and plan adjustments as needed
  • Stay informed on market trends, tax regulations, and financial planning best practices
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships through trust, transparency, and exceptional service
  • Collaborate with professionals such as CPAs, attorneys, and other advisors to provide comprehensive financial solutions
  • Maintain accurate client records while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Participate in business development activities, networking opportunities, and referral generation efforts

Requirements

  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial planning, wealth management, or financial advisory services
  • Strong understanding of investment strategies, financial products, tax planning, and estate planning concepts
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with or willingness to learn financial planning software such as eMoney, MoneyGuidePro, or RightCapital
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay

$80,000-$125,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications
