About the role

This role offers an opportunity for a Certified Financial Planner to engage deeply with clients, providing comprehensive financial planning services. Responsibilities

  • Deliver deep, holistic financial planning, including estate, tax, and special needs considerations
  • Meet firm and client service standards of a fee-only registered investment advisory
  • Contribute to business development, potentially earning a percentage of first-year fees for new clients
  • Assist with new account paperwork and wire transfers to understand operational processes
  • Conduct tax and retirement projections
  • Participate in client meetings, taking notes and potentially presenting portions of discussions
  • Communicate effectively with a diverse client base, utilizing video conferencing and in-person meetings as needed
  • Research and analyze financial data to support planning efforts
  • Oversee the execution of financial plans
  • Collaborate with advisors on complex questions and issues
  • Engage in continuous learning and professional development to enhance planning skills

Requirements

  • Active CFP designation is required for all advisor roles
  • Experience in a registered investment advisory or comparable deep-planning environment is preferred
  • Proven leadership experience managing advisors or teams is preferred
  • Willingness to work onsite in College Station is required
  • Comfort with deep, holistic planning across tax, estate, and multi-generational considerations is required
  • 2-5 years of financial planning experience is required
  • BA degree is required
  • Additional credentials such as CFA, CPA, or JD are preferred
  • Experience at a firm of similar size is preferred

Pay

Salary Range: $80,000 – $115,000 / Year DOE
