Certified Epic Tapestry Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Configure/build, test, implement, and support Epic Tapestry applications and related workflows.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, operational teams, and technical resources to gather requirements and design optimal system solutions.
• Analyze business processes and translate operational needs into effective Epic Tapestry configurations and enhancements.
• Participate in all phases of the systems development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, build, testing, implementation, optimization, and ongoing support.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, build specifications, testing scripts, workflow diagrams, and support materials.
• Troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes, and develop effective resolutions.
• Support integrated testing, user acceptance testing, go-live activities, and post-implementation stabilization efforts.
• Provide production support and respond to system enhancement requests, issues, and operational needs.
• Ensure adherence to change management processes, governance standards, and application best practices.
• Participate in risk assessments, issue management, and root cause analysis activities.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by providing recommendations regarding workflow improvements, system optimization, and operational efficiencies.
• Facilitate meetings, workshops, demonstrations, and training sessions with stakeholders and end users.
• Mentor junior analysts and guide Epic build standards, documentation, and best practices.
• Maintain current knowledge of Epic Tapestry functionality, healthcare payer operations, and industry trends.

Key Qualifications

• Preferred: Current Epic Tapestry Certification in one or more of the following:
• Benefits Engine
• Tapestry Claims
• Payer Contract Management
• Utilization Management & Referrals
• Accounts Payable & Member Billing
• Tapestry CRM (Triplets)
• Experience with configuration/build in one or more Epic Tapestry modules, including:
• Benefits Engine
• Tapestry Claims
• Payer Contract Management
• Utilization Management & Referrals
• Accounts Payable & Member Billing
• Tapestry CRM (Triplets)
• Experience supporting Epic Tapestry implementations, upgrades, optimizations, and production support activities.
• Hands-on experience with application build, testing, troubleshooting, workflow analysis, and go-live support.
• Experience working through multiple phases of the systems development lifecycle.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation.
• Able to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with Utilization Management operations and Epic Tapestry Utilization Management build.
• Experience supporting health plans, managed care organizations, Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial, or ACA lines of business.
• Experience delivering system demonstrations and stakeholder presentations.
• Knowledge of healthcare payer workflows and operational best practices.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3–6 years of recent Epic Tapestry build/configuration experience.
• Experience participating in large-scale enterprise Epic implementations.
