Certified Dietary Manager

About the role

Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking a Certified Dietary Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a fire and passion for working with seniors, a flexible and fun personality, and prior dietary supervisory experience in a long-term care facility.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, control, and supervise functions and personnel within the dietary department.
• Safely and efficiently provide nutritionally appropriate food to residents for the purpose of maintaining and enhancing their overall health.
• Ensure the provision of quality food service and nutrition care in accordance with Federal, State and Local regulations.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Trained as a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM), Certified Food Protection Professional (CFPP), or a Dietetic Technician, registered (DTR).
• Prior dietary supervisory experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Skills

• Food safety certification as required by state regulations.
