Certified Dietary Manager

About the role

As a Dietary Manager, you will plan, direct, control, and supervise functions and personnel within the dietary department. You will also provide nutritionally appropriate food to residents to maintain and enhance their health.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and control functions and personnel within the dietary department.
• Safely and efficiently provide nutritionally appropriate food to residents.
• Ensure the provision of quality food service and nutrition care in accordance with Federal, State, and Local regulations.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Trained as a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM), Certified Food Protection Professional (CFPP), or a Dietetic Technician, registered (DTR).
• Prior dietary supervisory experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting.
• Certification in food safety, as required by state regulations.
