Kadima at Palmyra, a 39-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility, is seeking a Certified Dietary Manager to join our dynamic, family-centered team. Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the dietary department, ensuring that all residents receive high-quality meals and snacks that meet their nutritional needs and dietary restrictions
- Supervise and train dietary staff, including cooks and aides
- Monitor and maintain compliance with relevant state and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
- Collaborate with the nursing staff to address resident dietary needs and concerns
- Conduct food safety and sanitation audits to ensure a clean and safe food environment
Requirements
- Must be a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or have the ability to obtain certification within 6 months of hire
- 1-2 years of experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods
