About the Role

As a Certified Dietary Manager, you lead Skilled Nursing food service operations, ensuring residents receive nutritious, high-quality meals in a safe and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily dietary operations and supervise food service team members
• Plan menus in collaboration with culinary leaders to meet nutritional needs
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and Sunrise food service regulations
• Monitor therapeutic diets, meal tallies, and resident diet updates
• Participate in Care Plan meetings and assess resident preferences
• Provide on-the-job training and staff education
• Manage scheduling, staffing, and performance evaluations
• Maintain accurate records and regulatory documentation
• Support department budgeting and cost control initiatives
• Promote safety, sanitation, and infection control standards

Qualifications

• Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification required
• 2+ years food service experience in healthcare setting
• Prior supervisory or management experience
• Strong knowledge of nutrition and regulatory standards
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Pay

Pay Range: $26.75 - $33.50

What We’re Looking For

Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification required
2+ years food service experience in healthcare setting
Prior supervisory or management experience
Strong knowledge of nutrition and regulatory standards
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
