Certified Dietary Manager

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver well-balanced, nutritious weekly menus that delight residents
• Enforce strict federal, state, and local food safety and sanitation regulations, including ServSafe standards
• Conduct thorough safety and sanitation inspections regularly
• Ensure top-notch food quality, presentation, and portion control
• Manage dietary inventory, budget, and vendor coordination efficiently
• Lead, inspire, and train the dietary team to achieve excellence
• Support special facility events through catering and community engagement

Requirements

• Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) credential
• ServSafe certification
• Proven knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and dietary regulations
• Experience in healthcare or long-term care dietary services (preferred)
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
• A positive, team-oriented approach with a passion for quality care

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in dietary management or related field
• Current certification in ServSafe

Schedule

Full-time positions available with flexible scheduling options: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
