Position

Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Dining Services Department

Position Qualifications

• Certified Dietary Manager or Registered Licensed Dietician or willing to achieve the same
• One year dietary experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, long-term care facility, or other related facility preferred
• Demonstrates effective communication skills with staff, residents and the public
• Demonstrates ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relations with all staff and residents
• Demonstrates excellent judgement, problem-solving skills and independent decision-making skills
• Ability to adjust and follow standardized recipes
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions
• Ability to perform simple calculations
• Willing to work beyond normal working hours, on weekends, and in other positions temporarily, when necessary
• Flexible schedule is required
• Regular attendance and presence in the building is required
• Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English language
