Position
Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Dining Services Department
SUPERVISES
All Dining Services Staff
Position Qualifications
- Certified Dietary Manager or Registered Licensed Dietician or willing to achieve the same
- One year dietary experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, long-term care facility, or other related facility preferred
- Demonstrates effective communication skills with staff, residents and the public
- Demonstrates ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relations with all staff and residents
- Demonstrates excellent judgement, problem-solving skills and independent decision-making skills
- Ability to adjust and follow standardized recipes
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to perform simple calculations
- Willing to work beyond normal working hours, on weekends, and in other positions temporarily, when necessary
- Flexible schedule is required
- Regular attendance and presence in the building is required
- Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English language
