Certified Dietary Manager

About the role

The Gardens at Park Pointe is seeking a full-time Dietary Manager to join their team. Duties include planning, directing, controlling, and supervising dietary functions, ensuring safe and efficient food service, and adhering to regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, control, and supervise functions and personnel within the dietary department
• Safely and efficiently provide nutritionally appropriate food to residents
• Maintain and enhance residents' overall health through quality food service and nutrition care
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations
• Manage kitchen operations and staff
• Train and mentor dietary staff
• Develop and implement meal plans based on residents' nutritional needs

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Certified Dietary Manager (CDM), Certified Food Protection Professional (CFPP), or Dietetic Technician, registered (DTR)
• Prior dietary supervisory experience in a long-term care facility, skilled nursing facility, assisted living community, or memory care center
• Certification in food safety, as required by state regulations

• Knowledge of dietary laws and regulations
• Ability to manage a budget and plan meals
