Certified Dietary Director

About the role

As a Dietary Director, you will plan, direct, control, and supervise functions and personnel within the dietary department. You will ensure the provision of quality food service and nutrition care in accordance with Federal, State, and Local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and control functions and personnel within the dietary department.
• Safely and efficiently provide nutritionally appropriate food to residents for the purpose of maintaining and enhancing their overall health.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations regarding nutrition care and food service.
• Manage staff to meet nutritional goals and maintain high standards of food preparation and service.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Trained as a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM), Certified Food Protection Professional (CFPP), or a Dietetic Technician, registered (DTR).
• Prior dietary supervisory experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting.
• Certification in food safety, as required by state regulations.
