About This Position
The Coder II accurately applies the correct ICD-10-CM and CPT coding with appropriate modifiers, performs analysis and data entry on inpatient and outpatient services in either professional services or hospital settings for billing customer accounts, and ensures an accurate clinical database is maintained. The incumbent ensures compliance with coding and documentation for reimbursement according to federal regulations and guidelines.
Requirements
- Graduate from an approved coding specialist program.
- Certification through AAPC or AHIMA (required).
- Maintenance of certification and continuing education hours (required).
- Minimum of three (3) years of coding experience.

- Independent and proactive.
Licensure/Certification
- Coding certification through AAPC or AHIMA.

Pay
- Salary Range: N16 ($26.15 - $39.23), based on experience.
- Shift Differential: Compensation may include shift differential pay depending on the position and shift worked.
