Certified Caregiver - Wa
About the Role
Provides personal caregiving services and support in the client’s home, assisting with activities of daily living, personal needs, comfort, and safety. Offers compassionate companionship and emotional support while performing general housekeeping, meal preparation, and transportation to appointments and errands.
- Assists with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Supports special diets and meal preparation
- Performs household support activities and light housekeeping
- Administers medications as delegated and permitted by state regulations (includes completing Nurse Delegation Core and/or Nurse Delegation Diabetes certifications when required)
- Assists with Passive Range of Motion activities when properly credentialed and trained
- Provides limited assistance with vital signs for informational purposes only, following company guidelines
- Maintains accurate communication and reports changes in client condition to the care team
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Current HCA or CNA license required (renewed annually)
- Ability to meet BCCU background check requirements
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work responsibly with confidential information
- Dependable, compassionate, and able to work independently with good judgment
- At least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license

Pay
Salary Range: USD $23.79 - $27.53 per hour
