About the role
Visiting Angels Jersey Shore is seeking a Certified Caregiver/PCA who can provide support to clients in maintaining their independence at home.
Responsibilities
- Personal Care and Grooming
- Ambulation
- Special Procedures
- Homemaking, Meal Preparation, Light Housekeeping
- Assistance with other Activities of Daily Living
Requirements
- Valid certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA), licensed by the New Jersey State Board of Nursing
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Drivers Preferred
- Ability to perform patient observation accurately and respond promptly to changing health conditions
- Caregiver attitude combined with excellent communication skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina to assist with mobility tasks and perform caregiving duties throughout shifts
