About the role
Perform bone density assessments using specialized radiology equipment under the supervision of a radiologist.
Responsibilities
- Execute routine and specialized exams following protocols to ensure safety and diagnostic accuracy.
- Maintain exam productivity and timely documentation within electronic systems like CHL and PACS.
- Accurately identify charges for billing purposes and resolve data or image issues to ensure data integrity.
- Use patient identification procedures to prevent errors and follow communication frameworks to enhance patient experience.
- Utilize contrast media appropriately and monitor bone conditions to aid in diagnosis and management of bone-related health issues.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduate of a radiology or related program.
- 0-1 year of healthcare experience.
Qualifications
- ARRT (R) certification.
- Certified Bone Densitometry Technologist (CBDT) or equivalent.
- CPR certification.
