About the role

Ed Morse Automotive Group, with 80+ years of industry experience and over 60 locations across FL, TX, OK, MO, MT, IL, IA, CO, and AZ, is seeking a Certified Automotive Service Technician to join our family-oriented team. We represent 40+ automotive, powersports, and motorcycle brands and value personal and professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc. to specification.
• Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs.
• Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers.
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology.
• Inspect and test new vehicles and record findings so that necessary repairs can be made.

Requirements

• Hold a valid driver’s license.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Automotive Service Technician.
• Certification preferred.
• Team-oriented, flexible, and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.
• Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.
• Must be willing to submit to a background check, DMV screen, and drug screen.

Pay

Ranging from $40,000 to $150,000 per year, with weekly pay and uncapped earning potential through bonuses and commissions.
