Certified Athletic Trainer / Worksite Wellness Coach

About the role

We are seeking a passionate wellness professional/acute care provider to provide ON-SITE triage/injury management and one-on-one health behavior change interventions for our construction client partner. You will promote a healthy culture and strive to engage employees in the company's well-being offerings. This candidate will serve as a wellness ambassador and role model.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide one-to-one health coaching for employees
• Provide triage and acute services to various trades at a construction site
• Lead stretch and flex warm-up sessions for various workers onsite
• Work closely with safety committees, union representatives and foremen to provide wellness education to the population
• Create and deploy health promotion, education, activities and challenges
• Track health behavior change using proprietary health coaching software
• Congduct in-person health risk assessments and biometric screens (training provided)

Requirements

• Exceptional interpersonal, organization and communication skills required
• Ability to work autonomously, and manage multiple priorities
• Preferred: Experience providing workplace wellness programs and/or wellness education/formal training, Experience with construction / manufacturing setting, Trained to provide cholesterol and blood pressure screenings, Experience with motivational interviewing techniques, Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task, Adept at counseling individuals from diverse backgrounds

Qualifications and Skills

• Education Requirements: Required: BS Degree in Community Health Education or related field
• Required: Certified Athletic Trainer, NATA
