Certified Athletic Trainer - Full Time

About the role

Provide athletic trainer treatments and consultations to a variety of athletes and non-athletes in accordance with the written and verbal instructions of supervising physician.

• Conducts a thorough assessment and maintains required documentation.
• Administers and documents medication given or prescribed by ordering MD (as required by specialty) in patient’s medical record.
• Prepares patient for office visit and maintains flow of patients.
• Assists with dressing changes, removal of sutures, and remove and apply casts and other appliances as directed.
• Affixes to physician in marketing, development, and delivery of sports medicine services.

Requirements

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Athletic training program with Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Experience: Prefer at least one year of previous experience in an outpatient setting.
• Other Requirements: Must possess current state licensure, national certification, and CPR certification.
