About the role
Provide athletic trainer treatments and consultations to a variety of athletes and non-athletes in accordance with the written and verbal instructions of supervising physician.
Responsibilities
- Review the patient/athlete's record and conduct a thorough assessment
- Maintain required documentation
- Adhere to Watson Clinic policies & procedures in the administering and documenting of medication given or prescribed by ordering MD (as required by specialty) in patient's medical record
- Prepare patient for office visit and maintain integrity by maintaining flow of patients
- Assist with dressing changes, removal of sutures, and remove and apply casts and other appliances as directed
- Assist physician in marketing, development, and delivery of sports medicine services
Qualifications
Education: Graduate of an accredited Athletic training program with Bachelor's degree or higher.
Experience: Prefer at least one year of previous experience in an outpatient setting.
Other Requirements: Must possess current state licensure, national certification, and CPR certification.
