Certificate III in Carpentry – Apprenticeship
About the Role
This position provides an exclusive career opportunity for an individual motivated to pursue a Certificate III Carpenter Apprenticeship and gain high-quality on-the-job experience. As part of our team, you will work alongside a variety of trades (predominantly carpenters) on diverse projects, including custom designs, retrofits, and landscaping. Your role will primarily involve assisting our Construction Team directly onsite, performing duties aligned with your Certificate skill level training, and learning carpentry from the company CEO, lead carpenters, and tradespeople. This apprenticeship advances you beyond your Certificate and equips you with diverse industry knowledge for a successful career.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Construction Team onsite with duties aligned to your Certificate III in Carpentry training.
- Work across a variety of projects, including custom designs, retrofits, and landscaping.
- Learn and apply sustainable building techniques under the guidance of experienced tradespeople.
- Travel between multiple building sites in Brisbane (predominantly north-west and western suburbs) as required by construction schedules.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled or willing to enrol in a Certificate III in Carpentry.
- Must have a valid driver’s licence and your own reliable vehicle (preferably a ute to store and transport tools/materials to site locations). *If you do not yet have your driver’s licence, reliable daily transport is required.
- Must have a valid White Card or be willing to obtain one.
- Available to work full-time hours, Monday to Friday.
Location: Based out of our Head Office in Karana Downs (4306), with travel required between building sites in Brisbane. Accommodation is provided for rural/regional individuals when working away from home.
