Cerner Delivery Manager

About the Role

Contract to Hire (CTH) opportunity for an Onshore Cerner Delivery Manager with expertise in the Cerner Millennium Suite. The role requires experience running AMS support for large healthcare organizations, including SLA and KPI-based delivery, ITIL and SRUM-based operations, and project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Oversee AMS operations and ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Request) under ITIL v3/v4.
• Manage P1/P2 incidents, own Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and ensure SLA/SLO tracking and reporting.
• Drive knowledge deflection and incident trend reduction initiatives.
• Support on-call and after-hours coverage models.
• Lead program management for Cerner implementations and enhancements.
• Spearhead AI/ML and Generative AI initiatives using AI Force and AI Foundry for healthcare customers.
• Collaborate with client governance teams, vendors, and multi-partner ecosystems (e.g., Oracle Cerner, HCL AMS teams).
• Manage people, capacity, and commercial/contractual aspects of engagements.

Requirements

• Strong functional breadth across Cerner Millennium modules, including:
  • Registration / ADT
  • Charge Services / Patient Accounting
  • Clinical modules (FirstNet, CareAware, Nursing)
  • Ancillaries (PathNet, RadNet, Pharmacy at dependency level)
  • Core Security (access, roles, audits)
• Experience in a delivery role within large U.S. healthcare organizations.
• Proficiency in ITIL-based operations and program management.
• Familiarity with languages like Python/R for AI/ML initiatives.
• Awareness of security, access, and compliance requirements in healthcare IT.
• Strong client governance, communication, and vendor/partner management skills.
