Cereal Operator (Dry Tower)

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work independently to communicate with previous crews, understand dry material handling from Roller Driers, check production schedule specifications, and verify inventory status in Dry Tower.
• Support Filler operations by monitoring inventory levels in bins, ensuring quality of big bags produced, and meeting packaging requirements.
• Support Dry Tower delivery systems by adjusting operational parameters as needed and maintaining open communication with Filler and Drier Operators.
• Show new hires or trainees the duties of the job and assist in developing initial training documents.
• Maintain documentation and checks, including verifying MES & Quality checks on required frequencies, technical run parameters, and documenting all down time.
• Maintain close attention to detail, ensuring the clearing out of product from each process, including stopping the flow of sheets off the drier, clearing airvey systems, and communicating problems/issues to appropriate operators.
• Maintain housekeeping, zoning requirements, and a 5S standard in designated areas, requiring considerable physical exertion during the work shift.
• Perform job-specific checks and paperwork, and support and comply with all Nestlé programs and policies, including NQMS (Nestle Quality Management System) and ISO (International Organization for Standardization) standards.

REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL

• A high school diploma or GED certificate is preferred.
