About the role
Full-time Centralized Consumer Lender position based out of the corporate office (Enterprise) in Appleton. After initial onboarding onsite, this position could have the opportunity for hybrid (3+ days onsite/week, 2 remote) work consideration. The Centralized Consumer Lender works closely with our members to uncover their financial needs and offer exceptional consumer loan products. This role combines a passion for service and a love of lending to build personal relationships with our members, turning phone and internet inquiries into conversations that can be life changing.
Responsibilities
- Promoting and upholding the Fox Purpose, Mission, Vision, and Values
- Delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced consumer lending call center environment
- Interacting with members over the phone, internet, mobile app, and email to uncover financial needs and provide appropriate solutions utilizing products and services available within the credit union
- Effectively communicating the member's story while working with the underwriting team to identify the best possible solutions for our members
- Determining the best avenue for loan disbursement to ensure convenience for the member while supporting branch appointment guidelines and call center goals
- Customizing protection solutions for all applicable lending products, including but not limited to payment protection, guarantee asset protection (GAP), DPW and mechanical breakdown protection
- Addressing member questions or concerns pertaining to consumer loans, credit cards, and other products and services offered by the credit union
- Recognizing and pursuing opportunities to cross-sell all credit union products and referral services to increase services per household and deepen member relationships
- Completing outbound calls to support marketing campaigns and company objectives
- Supporting the credit union's auto-buying service
Requirements
- High school education or GED (two-year college degree or higher preferred), or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school, or completion of a specialized and extensive in-house training or apprenticeship program
- Must be able to obtain and maintain registry with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry as required by the S.A.F.E. Act
- Two years' relevant experience, including prior lending and financial services experience
- Complete understanding of financial credit counseling tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organizational and time management skills to balance workload and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite products
Qualifications
- Ability to speak and translate fluent English and Spanish is a plus
