Central University of Haryana (CUH), a Central University under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, invites applications for 33 regular faculty positions across 12 departments, including Political Science, Sociology, Economics, Law, Civil Engineering, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics & Astrophysics.

About the role

Selected faculty will teach and conduct research at CUH. Selection is based on merit through an all-India advertisement and recommendations by a Selection Committee, in accordance with UGC Regulations 2018. Teaching and research aptitude may be assessed through a seminar, lecture, or discussion on the use of latest technology during the interview stage.

Qualifications

As per UGC Regulations on Minimum Qualifications for Appointment of Teachers, 2018 (as amended), and applicable AICTE/NCTE/PCI norms for the respective post (Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor) and department. Eligibility is assessed as of the closing date of application, 31 August 2026.

Pay

  • Assistant Professor: Pay Level-10 (7th Pay Commission)
  • Associate Professor: Pay Level-13A (7th Pay Commission)
  • Professor: Pay Level-14 (7th Pay Commission)
  • Plus admissible allowances and New Pension Scheme benefits

Application details

Application fee is ₹1,000 for UR/OBC/EWS candidates; exempted for SC/ST/PwBD/Women. Separate applications and fees are required for each post/department. Candidates who applied earlier under Advt Nos. CUH/01/R/T/2025 and CUH/02/R/T/2025 must apply afresh.
