Job Summary
A Central Supply Technician maintains par levels and inventories in nursing units and departments and fills orders from the Material Management storeroom inventory.
Education
- High school diploma or GED required
Experience
- One year in a healthcare/medical setting preferred
Languages/Communication Skills
- English required
Miscellaneous
- Must have the ability to speak effectively and professionally to all staff, management, and all outside individuals at all levels from elementary to professional.
Mathematical Skills
- Skills in adding and subtracting two-digit numbers.
Reasoning Ability
- Must have the ability to apply non-judgmental reasoning capabilities whenever necessary when dealing with patients, visitors, and staff.
Critical Thinking Skills
- Must have the ability to apply critical thinking skills.
Reflective Thinking
- Must have reasonable reflective thinking focused on deciding what to believe or do.
