CENTRAL SUPPLY COORDINATOR PART TIME

About the role

AMG Specialty Hospital - Lafayette is seeking a Part Time Central Supply Coordinator.

Responsibilities

• Assists in establishing requirements for items or services to be procured and develops standard specifications.
• Supervises storage, control, and issuance of materials.
• Maintains contact with Corporate Supply Chain Department, supply sources, sales representatives, to keep informed of price trends.
• Documents and keeps track of facility budget, backorders and availability of supply, new items and reliability of suppliers.
• Receives and verifies all incoming supplies and materials delivered weekly.
• Maintains good working relationships within the hospital and provides excellent customer service.

Requirements

• High School diploma required.
• 1-3 years experience in central supply/materials management, preferably with hospital experience.
• Basic computer knowledge required.
• Demonstrates and ability to be flexible, organized and function under stressful situations.
• Strong time management, planning and multi-tasking skills.
• Possess strong interpersonal and human relation skills.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
