CENTRAL SUPPLY COORDINATOR PART TIME
About the role
AMG Specialty Hospital - Lafayette is seeking a Part Time Central Supply Coordinator.
Responsibilities
- Assists in establishing requirements for items or services to be procured and develops standard specifications.
- Supervises storage, control, and issuance of materials.
- Maintains contact with Corporate Supply Chain Department, supply sources, sales representatives, to keep informed of price trends.
- Documents and keeps track of facility budget, backorders and availability of supply, new items and reliability of suppliers.
- Receives and verifies all incoming supplies and materials delivered weekly.
- Maintains good working relationships within the hospital and provides excellent customer service.
Requirements
- High School diploma required.
- 1-3 years experience in central supply/materials management, preferably with hospital experience.
- Basic computer knowledge required.
- Demonstrates and ability to be flexible, organized and function under stressful situations.
- Strong time management, planning and multi-tasking skills.
- Possess strong interpersonal and human relation skills.
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
