About the role

Houston Medical Center – AMG Specialty Hospital is seeking a Full-Time Central Supply Coordinator.

Responsibilities

• Aids in establishing requirements for items or services to be procured and develops standard specifications.
• Handles all supply ordering for facility(s).
• Oversees storage, inventory control, and issuance of materials.
• Maintains contact with Corporate Supply Chain Management Department, supply sources, sales representatives, to keep informed of price trends, availability of supply, new items, and reliability of suppliers.

Requirements

• High School diploma.
• 1-3 years’ experience in hospital supply chain preferred.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Possess excellent interpersonal and human relation skills.

Qualifications

Hospital materials management/central supply experience is required.
