About the role

Join one of our Encompass Health hospitals as a Central Supply Clerk, where your professional expertise contributes directly to the hospital's smooth operation.

Responsibilities

• Receives all medical and clinical supplies and documents appropriately.
• Maintains a daily rental equipment log.
• Participates in and performs a physical inventory as required by hospital policy.
• Ensures that the therapy/nursing storage rooms and carts are stocked appropriately.
• Orders medical and clinical supplies for the hospital.
• Maintains appropriate level of inventory at all times.
• Forwards all invoices to accounts payable for timely processing.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• One year of hospital supply management/distribution experience is preferred.
• Effective communication skills are required.
• The ability to analyze situations, make informed decisions, and meet deadlines independently is essential.
