Key Responsibilities
- Order and requisition supplies and equipment to maintain appropriate inventory levels.
- Receive, inspect, and verify deliveries for accuracy and condition.
- Compare received items with invoices and freight bills.
- Report damaged or incorrect shipments to vendors, transportation companies, or the purchasing department.
- Store supplies in designated shelving, bins, and storage areas.
- Fill departmental requests for supplies and recommend substitute items when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, including perpetual inventory and reorder points.
- Prepare departmental charge records and submit totals to accounting for billing.
- Carry out annual inventory counts and reconcile inventory records.
- Cook up inventory counts and the movement or storage of supplies and equipment as needed.
Schedule
Monday to Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a similar role preferred.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and supply management.
