Central Supply Clerk

Key Responsibilities

  • Order and requisition supplies and equipment to maintain appropriate inventory levels.
  • Receive, inspect, and verify deliveries for accuracy and condition.
  • Compare received items with invoices and freight bills.
  • Report damaged or incorrect shipments to vendors, transportation companies, or the purchasing department.
  • Store supplies in designated shelving, bins, and storage areas.
  • Fill departmental requests for supplies and recommend substitute items when appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, including perpetual inventory and reorder points.
  • Prepare departmental charge records and submit totals to accounting for billing.
  • Carry out annual inventory counts and reconcile inventory records.
  • Cook up inventory counts and the movement or storage of supplies and equipment as needed.

Schedule

Monday to Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in a similar role preferred.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and supply management.
