About the Role

Sinai Hospital's Sterile Processing Department in Baltimore, Maryland is a recently renovated unit using the latest reprocessing technology and full electronic documentation to handle all reusable medical devices, including flexible scopes. The department meets or exceeds current standards and guidelines, and CRCST and CER certifications are required of all staff to support competency, quality outcomes, and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Performs decontamination, sterilization, and processing of instruments, scopes, supplies, and equipment used during invasive and non-invasive procedures.
• May be assigned to different areas of Sterile Processing, focusing on a variety of duties which all require the use of state-of-the-art sterile processing methods and strict adherence to established departmental policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED (Essential)
• CRCST and CER certifications (Essential)
• Less than one year of experience (Essential)

Pay

$20.97 to $31.59 per hour, based on experience
