Job Requirements

Job Summary: Prepares, distributes and controls sterile and non-sterile supplies, equipment, and instrumentation. Assists the patient care team to provide and maintain customer service focus essential for smooth operations.

Work Experience

• Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Education & Training: High school diploma, with certification as Certified Registered Central Services Technician (CRCST).
  • Work Orientation & Experience: Previous experience in a Central Sterile Supply Technician position preferred.
• Skills & Abilities:
  • Self-directed and capable to carry out assignments with limited supervision.
  • Able to effectively convey verbal and written information, follow directions, respond to emergency situations appropriately, adapt hours of availability to variable and changing needs of the hospital, including all shifts.
  • Effectively function as a member of a collaborative team.
  • Organize and manage time effectively, setting appropriate priorities.
  • Comply with The Joint Commission and OSHA standards.

Benefits

• Pay Range: $24.00/hr.
• Flat Rate Other Compensation (if applicable): Shift Differential
