Central Station Monitor – 2nd Shift

About the role

Datawatch Systems Inc. is seeking a Central Station Monitor to provide support for alarm monitoring and access control calls within the Central Monitoring Station (CMS).

Responsibilities

• Supports alarm monitoring and access control calls received within the CMS.
• Handles other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Willingness to submit to a drug screening and criminal background check.
• High proficiency in written and verbal communication.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Computer skills to navigate multiple software applications.
• Punctuality and attendance is crucial.
• Flexible scheduling availability for weekends, holidays, or extended hours.
• Ability to assess and evaluate opportunities for problem-solving.
• Knowledge of Access Control, Fire, and Burglary systems (a plus).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years data entry experience.
• 1-2 years experience with a multi-line phone or soft phone.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience (preferred).
• High volume call center or 911 communications experience (preferred).

SkillsAbility to type a minimum of 35 words per minute.

Experience with Access Control, Fire, and Burglary systems (a plus).
