Central Scheduler

Responsibilities

• Schedule outpatient appointments for various hospital departments.
• Gather and verify correct documentation including signed orders, authorization, and referral attachments.
• Clearly and accurately relay appointment instructions to patients.
• Gather and maintain accurate patient medical records including demographic, financial, and billing data.
• Work directly with hospital departments, providers, nursing, and other staff to provide care, compassion, and excellent customer service.
• Demonstrate strong phone skills and multitasking abilities.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Computer skills and knowledge of customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience in a healthcare setting (preferred).

Schedule

First (Day) shift.

Full-time, on-site position.

Public transportation accessible.

Pay

$17.71 - $23.99 / Hourly.
