About the role

The DeKalb County School District is seeking substitute teachers to fill day-to-day positions throughout the district for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a temporary position.

Responsibilities

• Assume the duties and responsibilities of the regular classroom teacher
• Maintain good classroom management
• Present a predetermined quality instructional plan

Requirements

• A valid Professional Standards Commission-approved certificate in the appropriate educational field at level T-4 or above required
• Two Professional References

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree from a Professional Standards Commission-approved accredited college or university required

• Ability to present a predetermined quality instructional plan
