Central Market (Southlake) Prepared Foods Production Rep - Part Time
Job Summary
Central Market is seeking a Production Representative with availability to include days, evenings, and weekends to handle the freshest, quality of ingredients. Assignments will vary dependent on Department in Store.
Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions
- Mix, shape, bake, wrap and stock products
- Ensure quality control of all product before sending to sales floor
- Maintain sanitation in the department
- Maintain organization of back storage, freezer, walk-in and production area
- Read and execute daily production list
- Provide customer service as required such as answering questions, taking orders on the phone
- Assist in monitoring the quality of goods and monitor shrink
- Order and receive products and supplies
- Maintain transfer records
- Prep, wrap, price, sell, and stock products continuously
- Demo, or prepare customer samples for self-serve
- Provide superlative customer service
- Use suggestive selling techniques to maximize sales

- Experience with commercial production preferred

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge and preparation of baking goods preferred

Physical Demands & Working Conditions
- Lift and carry moderate to heavy loads (minimum of 50 lbs.)
- Bend, reach, push, and pull
- Ability to work overnight and flexible schedules (days, evenings, weekends, and holidays)
