Central Market (Southlake) Line Cook - Full-time

Responsibilities

• Mixing, shaping, baking, wrapping and stocking of products
• Affirm quality control of all product before sending to sales floor
• Maintain sanitation in the department
• Maintain organization of back storage, freezer, walk-in and production area
• Reads and executes daily production list
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as weights, discounts, percentages and volumes
• Provides customer service as required such as answering questions, taking orders on the phone
• Affords assistance in monitoring the quality of goods and monitors shrink
• Orders and receives products and supplies
• Maintains transfer records
• Premiers, wraps, prices, stocks products continuously
• Demos, or prepares customer samples for self-serve
• Offers superlative customer service
• Uses suggestive selling techniques to maximize sales

Qualifications & Key Requirements

• Experience with commercial production - Preferred 1+ years
• Experience in food preparation and experience - Required 2+ years
• 2-5 years of related experience - Required
• Demonstrates and shares expertise about food - Required
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - Required
• Ability to handle stressful situations - Required
• Ability to coach other Partners - Required
• Good verbal and written communication skills - Required
• Ability to work overnight and flexible schedules (days, evenings, weekends, and holidays) - Required
