Responsibilities

  • Aid in product ordering
  • Assist in creating weekly department schedule
  • Identify and prioritize high-priority tasks
  • Set clear expectations for team members
  • Delegate responsibilities to appropriate team members
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Maintain operational effectiveness
  • Maximize sales through merchandising and suggestive selling
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and company regulations regarding product freshness, safety, refrigeration, and sanitation
  • Manage shrink, safety, and inventory control

Qualifications & Key Requirements

  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably 5-8 years
  • Previous experience in retail or restaurant settings
  • Extensive knowledge of specialty food products and preparation methods
  • Strong customer service skills
  • A passion for food
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures
