Responsibilities
- Aid in product ordering
- Assist in creating weekly department schedule
- Identify and prioritize high-priority tasks
- Set clear expectations for team members
- Delegate responsibilities to appropriate team members
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Maintain operational effectiveness
- Maximize sales through merchandising and suggestive selling
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and company regulations regarding product freshness, safety, refrigeration, and sanitation
- Manage shrink, safety, and inventory control
Qualifications & Key Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably 5-8 years
- Previous experience in retail or restaurant settings
- Extensive knowledge of specialty food products and preparation methods
- Strong customer service skills
- A passion for food
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures
