About the role

The Data Management Specialist is responsible for all Memphis administrative functions and data management activities, including operations-related data entry, order analysis, controlled product order entry and release, reception, file management, logistics clerical functions, accounts payable, 236 forms, and DEA-related clerical functions. This role requires coordination with all Memphis and corporate management. Employees at our Memphis distribution center play a critical role in getting life-saving products to hospitals, clinics, and nursing homes, operating 24 hours a day, 5 days a week to meet patient needs.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews paperwork and confirms that all information is clear, complete, and accurate
  • Maximizes office productivity through proficient use of appropriate software applications
  • Maintains accurate records of 222 forms and purchase orders
  • Reviews records to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness; prepares activity reports for management
  • Coordinates administrative activities within all departments and develops relationships with outside vendors
  • Prepares and coordinates visits to the Memphis site
  • Processes receipts and releases in the business system and updates appropriate logs
  • Creates reports for receipt verifications and checks stocks
  • Maintains adequate stock of office supplies
  • Processes inventory adjustments
  • Answers and directs calls from clients
  • Greets guests and provides access to the building
  • Completes import/export forms for clients
  • Adheres to all formal standard operating procedures related to operations
  • Ensures timely release of client orders
  • Understands the receipt process, controlled substance process, OS&D, and Call Tag Process
  • Provides monthly inventory information to appropriate areas
  • Completes both inbound and outbound DEA Forms 222
  • Formulates emails to DLSS staff as a means of communication
  • Supports projects as assigned
  • Performs all tasks assigned by Supervisor or Manager
  • Reviews paperwork to confirm clarity, completion, and accuracy of all documents

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment background check
  • Prior experience in a distribution environment preferred
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic math skills (calculator use permitted)
  • Good attendance and ability to follow instructions without deviation

Pay

$17.25 per hour

Schedule

This role operates in a temperature-controlled environment year-round, 24 hours a day, 5 days a week.

Uniform

Mandated uniform includes khaki-colored pants, close-toed shoes, and a blue shirt. Leggings, yoga pants, or any form-fitting stretch pants are not permitted. Shoes should be sturdy and provide full coverage. After a 60-day probationary period, employees receive an allotment for customized EVERSANA uniforms.
