About the Role

At Dorothy Lane Market, our Central Baking facility works round the clock preparing all of the delightful desserts, pastry, and artisan breads sold fresh in our stores. We are looking for a hardworking individual to join our bakery production team. Require some flexibility around the holidays.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality baked goods
• Accurately measure ingredients
• Operate bakery equipment
• Packaging and labeling product with precision
• Ensure quality standards at every step
• Maintain the highest standards of food safety
• Keep a clean and safe working environment
• Communicate and collaborate to work as a team
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• A desire to make folks happy by providing Honestly Better® Food and Service
• Food safety expertise
• A willingness to learn about and taste great food
• A willingness to practice the DLM Team Values: Be Honest, Safe, Helpful, and Hard-Working
• Effective communication skills
• Basic mathematical skills
• Must be 18 years or older

Physical Requirements

• Standing for long periods of time
• Lifting up to 60 pounds
• Must have holiday and weekend availability
