Hiring Event Details

Centivo is hosting an on-site hiring event for multiple Member Care Specialist positions.

• Date/Time: Wednesday, September 16, 2026, 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm
• Location: Fairmont Creamery, 199 Scott Street, Buffalo, NY 14204

The entire recruiting process, including a brief assessment, will be conducted on-site. Walk-ins are welcome—just bring your résumé. Candidates may be asked to complete a short assessment as part of the process.

About the Role

This is an in-person role located in our downtown Buffalo, NY office. A paid training program begins Monday, October 19, 2026, Monday to Friday, also in the Buffalo office. Prior customer service experience in health insurance is a plus but not required.

• Support members and healthcare providers on inquiries
• Research and solve complex problems
• Educate members and providers on benefits and navigation of our site
• Help disrupt the healthcare system

Responsibilities

• Accept inbound calls from members and providers regarding benefits, eligibility, and claims
• Research complex inquiries using tools, documentation, and outbound calls
• Educate members and providers on Centivo’s site, tools, and applications
• Document all interactions and ensure proper processes/procedures are followed
• Take follow-up action as needed
• De-escalate calls when necessary
• Address first-level complaints and assist with appeals

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Basic computer skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft operating system and applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Ability to quickly learn proprietary computer systems
• Professional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Problem-solving skills

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Fast-paced call center experience
• Previous claims experience and/or medical billing experience

Pay

Hourly rate starts at $20, up to $23 depending on prior experience.
