About the Role

Family Tree Private Care provides concierge-level advisory services to older adults, those living with disabilities, and their families. We offer flexible schedules and a supportive work environment where you can make a real difference in the lives of others. Positions are available in Longmont, Boulder, Louisville, Lafayette, Loveland, Westminster, and surrounding areas.

• Provide care support and assistance to older adult clients to ensure their needs are met and they have a positive experience
• Help clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting activities
• Prepare meals, assist with grocery shopping, and perform light housekeeping tasks
• Assist with transfers using gait belts and mechanical devices
• Attend trainings and complete continuing education as required

Responsibilities (Nursing)

• Travel to assigned patient’s homes and manage their care plan according to physician’s instructions
• Assess and chart observations of the patient’s condition at each visit
• Complete evaluation tasks, including reviewing medication and vital signs
• Dress or redress wounds and assess healing progress
• Educate caregivers and family on aftercare or ongoing care of the patient
• Keep the patient comfortable through palliative care
• Recommend tools or devices that may improve the quality of life for the patient
• Perform clinical skills including changing bandages, giving tube feedings, administering shots, and setting up and monitoring IVs

Requirements

• At least one year of professional caregiving or nursing experience
• Ability to pass a background check
• Ability to provide professional references
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to lift 25 lbs

Pay

• Caregiver Pay Range: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
• Nurse Pay Range: $40 - $55 per hour
