Center Supervisor

About the role

This position supervises plasma center operations and staff to ensure efficient collections. Reporting to the Center Manager, responsibilities include:

• Supervise daily activities in compliance with SOPs
• Provide clear instructions and conduct meetings
• Communicate performance expectations
• Perform tasks in work areas as needed
• Advise on employee relations and donor issues
• Facilitate donor movement and ensure adequate staffing
• Maintain time card reporting, attendance, and overtime
• Conduct error investigations and recommend process improvements
• Participate in performance appraisals and provide feedback
• Document coaching actions and maintain training files
• Assist with recruitment and selection
• Adhere to company policies and promote compliance
• Support marketing initiatives to increase donor retention
• Ensure accurate donor data entry
• Understand and comply with hyper immune program policies
• Maintain a clean, efficient work environment
• Comply with HSE and OSHA policies
• Conduct internal audits and promote safety
• Maintain confidentiality of personnel, donor, and center information
• Be cross-trained in all technical areas

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
• Minimum 1 year supervisory, leadership experience
• Ability to share information with internal contacts
• Decision-making ability with moderate impact on immediate work unit
• Physical abilities to see, speak, and observe equipment operation
• Manual dexterity for reaching, bending, and kneeling
• Occasional lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds
• Frequent interruptions in fast-paced environment
• Frequent exposure to hazardous chemicals, extreme temperatures, and bloodborne pathogens
• Required to wear personal protective equipment
• Work overtime and extended hours as needed
