Responsibilities
- Analyzes and manages product performance
- Manages sign and price integrity
- Manages schematics and new items
- Accountable for achieving department financials (sales, profit and loss, projections, metrics, and analysis)
- Manages product for sales and profit (orders, order/inventory system usage, pre-orders, promotion/seasonal planning)
- Manages product rotation, spoils, shrink, and markdowns
- Oversees backroom and steel management
- Develops Assistant Center Store Managers
- Directly leads Assistant Center Store Managers and team members
- Hires and manages employees
- Provides customers with a remarkable shopping experience
Requirements
- High School Diploma (or G.E.D. equivalent) required
- Minimum one year as an Assistant Center Store Manager or equivalent grocery retail management experience preferred
- Must be available to work a variety of required retail hours
- Must be forklift certified
