Center Store Lead

Role Overview: Lead daily department operations in a retail store to ensure staffing, training, and adherence to company standards, while achieving key performance goals. Key Responsibilities Order, maintain, and control inventory, ensuring product freshness and minimizing loss.Validate received shipments for quality, accuracy, and proper storage.Manage a team to complete stocking, production, and quality tasks, including date-sensitive rotation and handling damaged products.Maintain product knowledge and support sales initiatives, promotions, and store presentation standards.Assist in executing work schedules, labor control, and payroll management.Support the development and performance management of team members.Ensure food safety, safety guidelines, cleanliness, and customer experience standards are consistently followed.Participate in meetings and communicate plans effectively.Assist with department forecasting, goal setting, and implementing company strategies. Qualifications & Skills High School diploma or equivalent; retail experience preferred.Strong communication, organization, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.Leadership capabilities with hands-on approach.Knowledge of retail operations and management systems.Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint; bilingual skills (Spanish) may be advantageous. Physical & Other Requirements: Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently, up to 50 pounds occasionally, stand and walk for extended periods, and operate within a retail environment with varied temperatures.
