Center Manager, Sales Responsibilities

About the role

This position is responsible for the operation of a center and is ideal for someone interested in entry-level management, or for someone with experience in sales, supervision, or medical fields.

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire, train, and supervise quality candidates
• Implement safety programs, including maintaining records in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations that apply to OSHA, DOT, and FDA as outlined in the Safety & Regulatory Manual, including enforcement of employees to wear Personal Protective Equipment at the appropriate times, and enforcement of the Vehicle Safety Disciplinary Policy
• Control inventory and purchasing of equipment and supplies through the central purchasing function
• Drive growth of the patient base through excellence in customer service
• Ensure profitability of the center, as well as implement and direct cost controls
• Ensure accuracy of public information materials
• Maintain a fleet of leased vehicles, including establishing a routine preventive maintenance program and follow-up of major maintenance; record keeping and inspections of vehicles are critical
• Perform equipment setups in patient homes (most setups are oxygen equipment, concentrators, and reservoirs) as required
• Perform on-call duties on a rotational basis with other employees in the center, including responding to call-outs at night and weekends normally performed by a service representative
• Serve as a backup to the service representative for vacation, illness, and other periods of absenteeism
