Responsibilities

• Be the trusted leader for our furry guests and their people; ensure pets feel safe, cared for, and loved at every moment.
• Oversee daily care routines like feeding, medicating, grooming, exercise, and playtime—creating happy tails and wagging smiles (must be able to lift large dogs).
• Keep meticulous records to guarantee each pet’s health and behavior is closely monitored.
• Enforce safety protocols and maintain a best-in-class boarding facility.
• Handle emergencies with ease in collaboration with your District Manager.
• Stay ahead of regulations and ensure every corner of the facility meets or exceeds Best Friends Pet Care standards.
• Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of 10+ dedicated animal care professionals in a positive work culture that celebrates open communication.
• Effectively serve as a liaison between frontline team members and headquarters staff, facilitating clear communication and collaboration.
