The Center for the Future of Surgery (CFS) at UC San Diego is led by the department chair and director. It aims to advance surgical techniques through the investigation, development, testing, and teaching of innovative procedures, and to share this knowledge with both future and current clinicians.

The center offers a space for labs, conferences, meetings, and continuing medical education courses. It can accommodate groups ranging from 5 to 350 people. To schedule, contact the center directly.
