About the role

The Center for Team Care (CTC) is a workforce wellness initiative within the VCU Health system to deliver high value, comprehensive, and concierge like primary care to VCU Health employees and dependents. The CTC is seeking experienced primary care physicians who can deliver high quality, high value care with a focus on population management and uncompromising patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary care physician to a complex panel of patients, delivering high quality acute and episodic care, chronic disease management, and wellness care
• Part of an interdisciplinary team to manage the preventive needs of a population of patients
• Comply with billing, documentation, credentialing, and other administrative requirements

Qualifications

• Board certification in Internal Medicine and/or Pediatrics
• At least 3-5 years of post-residency experience managing a complex patient panel in a busy primary care clinic
• Eligible for Virginia Medical Licensure
• Demonstrated ability to work in and foster an environment of respect, professionalism and civility with a population of faculty, staff, and students from all backgrounds and experiences, or a commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in value-based care or concierge care
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience working on an interdisciplinary team to manage a patient population
• Experience working or supervising APPs
• Experience or interest in working with pediatrics
• Experience in lifestyle medicine
