Center for Sight -Ophthalmic Assistant

About the role

The ideal candidate will have experience in patient work-up, visual acuity, refracting, visual fields, OCT, tonometry, and contact lens insertion and removal.

Essential Job Functions

• Perform optometric pretesting including, but not limited to, visual acuity, auto-refraction, manual refraction, tonometry, topography, OCT, visual field, manual lensometry.
• Record chief complaint, medications, and medical history.
• Absorb and provide patients with excellent customer service and any necessary information regarding treatment.

Education and Experience

• Experience within a professional environment with a strong customer service focus.
• High school or equivalent education.
• CPOA or COA certification preferred.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position located in Fort Myers, FL. Shifts are scheduled Monday - Friday between 8 am - 5 pm. Travel to other locations as necessary.
